Eng Ho Ng has served as a Director of Currenc since the completion of the Business Combination and has also held a directorship at Seamless Group Inc. since December 2018. He is currently the non-executive Chairman of ZWEEC Analytics Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based private company specializing in computer vision technology solutions for the safeguarding of national water resources. He is also an Independent Director of Finger Motion Inc., a NASDAQ company involved in mobile payment and recharge platform solutions in China, and Almazing Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based retail analytics company. Mr. Ng had also served as an independent director of a number of publicly listed companies in Singapore (Mencast Holdings Ltd, 2008 to 2013, and China Taisan Technology Group Holdings Ltd, 2017 to 2018) and on NASDAQ (Alvarion Inc., 2009 to 2012). Prior to this, Mr. Ng was the Executive Vice President (Operations) at Singapore Technologies Telemedia Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings, for five years. Mr. Ng was also the Managing Director of Keppel Telecommunications & Transportation Ltd (Keppel T&T), a company listed on the Singapore Exchange Ltd and a member of the Keppel group of companies. Mr. Ng has also served as a career officer in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). He joined the SAF in 1973 and was sent on a scholarship to the United Kingdom to be trained as an officer, initially at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst and subsequently at the Royal Military College of Science, Shrivenham, where he graduated in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Telecommunications System Engineering. Mr. Ng served as Chief Signal Officer of the SAF until his departure in September 1990 to pursue a new career in the private sector.
